Estamos aqui novamente com mais um Pinto Entrevista! Dessa vez trazendo um grande jogador de heroclix que teve excelente colocação no ROC Mundial! Usando o time de Red Son Wonder Woman! É hora de Joshua Earnest!

1 - What is your name and your nick in Hcrealms?    

1 - Qual seu nome e seu nick no Hcrealms?

My name is Joshua Earnest, a lot of people know me as Gokou from HC Realms.

2 - When, where and with who you started to play heroclix?

2 - Quando, onde e com quem você começou a jogar heroclix?

I started playing Heroclix when it first began, I picked up an Infinity Challenge starter at TBS Comics in Fort Walton Beach Florida. A few of the local comic book shop guys were my first Heroclix community, our judge was named Kevin.

PT: Eu comecei jogando heroclix quando lançou. Peguei uma starter de Infinity Challenge na TBS Comics em Fort Walton Beach – Florida. Algumas das pessoas da loja foram minha primeira comunidade de heroclix, nosso juiz se chamava Kevin.

3 - How you would describe heroclix?

3 - Como você descreveria heroclix?

A tabletop miniatures game. I like to give people a copy of their favorite super hero if they care enough to ask me about my hobby, this means I rarely have any extra copies of Batman from any of the old sets!

PT: Um jogo de mesa de miniaturas. Eu gosto de dar para as pessoas uma cópia do seu super herói favorito se eles se importarem em me perguntar sobre o hobby. Isso significa que eu raramente tenho cópias extras de Batmans de qualquer coleção mais antiga!

4 - What is your game style?

4 - Qual seu estilo de jogo?

I prefer aggression, lately though the format seems to favor a very defensive style of team building. I’m happiest with a team if it will allow me to finish an opponent before time in a majority of my games.

PT: Eu prefiro agressivo, ultimamente o formato parece beneficiar um estilo bem defensive de construção de time. Estou feliz com um time que me permita finalizar meu oponente antes do tempo na maioria dos jogos.

5 - What were your main achievements?

5 - Quais são suas maiores conquistas?

I placed in the top 8 at the ROC World Cup both this year and last year. I also won the Tulsa Regional last July, as well as 5 Super Qualifier wins and 2 State Championships (Missouri and Kansas)

PT: Eu fiquei em top 8 no Roc World Cup, tanto nesse ano quanto no anterior. Eu também ganhei o Tulse Regional Julho passado, ganhei outros 5 Super Qualifiers e 2 estaduais ( Missouri e Kansas)

6 - Do you think heroclix its “pay to win”?

6 - Você acha que heroclix é "pay to win"?

I do not, the expense of competitive figures seems to have gone down compared to previous years. Unless you just HAVE to field the best ID cards available a lot of teams can run you less than 100$

PT: Não acho, o preço das figures competitivas cairam em relação aos anos anteriores. A menos que você TENHA que por em campo todos os melhores ID cards você consegue montar times com menos de $100 dolares.

7 - Do you think its an expensive hobbie?

7 - Você acha que é um hobby caro?

It can be if you’re a collector, or if you need every figure as soon as it’s released. I like to get figures that I don’t have, but if it will cost me a significant amount to hunt it down I usually just wait till I can get a great deal after the value has dropped.

PT: Pode ser se você for um colecionador, ou precise de todas as figuras assim que elas são lançadas, eu gosto de pegar peças que eu não tenha, mas se me custarem uma quantidade significativa eu normalmente espero um negocio bom quando o valor cair.

8 - There’s any remarkable match you remember?

8 - Tem alguma partida memorável que você se lembre?

Lately this would have to be my top 8 match with Easton Brock in the top 8 at the World Cup. I was ahead by 2 points until the very last action when he was able to KO by Red Son Wonder Woman!

PT: Minha ultima partida no top 8 do Rock World Cup contra Easton Brock. Eu estava a frente por 2 pontos, quando na ultima ação ele conseguiu derrubar a Red Son Wonder Woman!

9 - Do you have plans to come to Brazil?

9 - Você tem planos para vir para o Brasil?

Sadly I do not, the cost to travel is prohibitive for me. Most of the ROC events I attend are ones that I can drive to in about 5 hours or less.

PT: Tristemente não, o custo da viagem é proibitivo para mim. Maioria dos ROC events que eu vou são aqueles que consigo dirigir 5 horas ou menos.

10 - Do you have any favorite figure?

10 - Você tem alguma peça favorita?

That would be Thor Frog of Thunder from the Hammer of Thor set. It took me a while to hunt this figure down, but every time I put him on the field I have a great time so he was worth the effort.

PT: Esse seria o Thor, Frog of Thunder da coleção Hammer of Thor. Me levou um tempo para encontrar essa figura, mas toda vez que eu coloco ele na mesa eu me divirto, então ele valeu a pena.

11 - What do you think of the current meta, and what you think will change with the new TMNT2 set?

11 - Oque você acha do meta atual, e oque você acha que vai mudar com a nova coleção do TMNT2?

There is always one element that everybody is playing, and right now that element seems to be ID cards. I think that the Ultron Drones combined with ID cards is more powerful that it was intended to be and I will be happy when they rotate out of modern. I don’t see that aspect changed with TMNT 2, but there will certainly be some modifications to the figures that go with the ID cards.

PT: Sempre tem um elemento que todos estão usando, e no momento esses são os ID Cards. Eu acho que Ultron Drones combinados com ID Cards são mais fortes do que planejaram que seria, e vou ficar feliz quando eles caírem o modern. Eu não vejo esse aspecto mudando com TMNT 2, mas certamente com algumas figuras que vão junto com os ID Cards.

12 - If you can change one rule(or power effect) in heroclix, what would it be?

12 - Se você pudesse mudar uma regra ( ou efeito de poder) no heroclix, qual seria?

I would take away the trait that allows Ultron Drones to be considered 120 points.

PT: I tiraria a trait que permite os Ultron Drones contarem como 120 pontos

13 - If you can design the next heroclix set, what teams/theme/story would you lean towards?

13 - Se você pudesse escolher qual seria o próximo set de heroclix( tema, times, história) qual seria?

I think another set like Sinister would be fun, a set that focueses on a lot of the villains of the comic book world.

PT: Eu acho que uma outra coleção como Sinister seria divertida. Uma coleção que se foca nos vilões do mundo dos quadrinhos.

14 - If you can bring back one Golden Age character back to Modern Age for the current rotation, who would it be?

14 - Se você pudesse trazer de volta alguma peça do Golden Age qual seria?

I really liked playing with Brother Voodoo. He was on the first ROC team that I ever fielded and he always served me well.

PT: Eu realmente adorava usar Brother Voodoo. Ele estava no primeiro time de ROC que eu coloquei em campo e sempre me foi muito útil.

15 - Any advice for the new players?

15 - Algum conselho para os novos jogadores?

Always be aware of your opponents threat range. A lot of new players will move every figure on their team straight ahead into the open and wonder why they lose every game. Try to build some method of staying safe on your approach into your team so you won’t always lose your best figure as soon as you get into striking range.

PT: Sempre tenha ideia da area de ameaça do seu oponente. Muitos jogadores novos apenas movem as figuras para frente sem prestar atenção por que eles perdem todo jogo. Tente montar um método de estar seguro enquanto seu time se aproxima, então você não perde sua melhor figura antes dela bater.

16 - Would you like to let a message to the readers?

16 - Você gostaria de deixar uma mensagem para os leitores?

Have fun! Heroclix is meant to be a fun game. Even when I’m at a competitive tournament I always try to play with this in mind. Don’t take our game too seriously, what is meant to happen will happen and being stressed about it never helped anybody win a match.

PT: Se divirtam! Heroclix foi feito para ser um jogo divertido. Mesmo quando estou em um torneio competitivo eu sempre tento jogar com isso em mente. Não leve o jogo tão a sério, o que tiver que acontecer vai acontecer e se irritar não ajuda a ganhar jogo nenhum.
